As the LA Clippers' golden season is upon us we'd love to help celebrate 5 decades of Clippers basketball. We envision it being more than just a jersey patch, but a component within a larger, cohesive anniversary program. As a longtime die-hard Clipper fan, I can't stress enough the importance of having a 50th Anniversary campaign for our beloved L.A. Clippers (est. 1970).
The #BenchOnaQUEST movement proudly suggests this special commemorative logo. The Purpose of this Design/Artwork is:
To properly honor the #Clippers50thAnniversary with a vintage-inspired branding campaign. GO CLIPPERS!!!
It'd be fun to create plenty of exciting events all season long. There could be an entire platform, including:
a Fan Fest,
a "Journey Through the Decades" series of theme nights (one for each decade) - during the season, the team could highlight every era of Clippers basketball by taking a journey through the decades. Each decade could be celebrated with commemorative content on a special game night.
and commemorative merchandise.
We believe that the 50th season is an opportunity to honor the rich tradition of Clippers basketball and show appreciation for all the fans who've supported the franchise so much along the way. Let us know your thoughts on this logo concept.
