Kawhi & New Balance Officially Unveil The KAWHI 4 Signature Shoe

Ever since Kawhi Leonard debuted his 4th signature sneaker at the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, we have been waiting on hands and knees for the hoop shoes to hit shelves. Luckily for fans, the highly anticipated newest signature shoe – the New Balance KAWHI 4 has arrived. Today, the brand revealed two upcoming colorways that are set to release on April 26th with an MSRP of $160.

First up is a classic white/black/red rendition that is designed to align with the LA Clippers uniforms. Straightforward and no-frills, much like Kawhi’s persona, this “Transcend the Game” colorway speaks to the All-NBA mainstay’s thirteen year career as a dual-threat. Opposing that team-friendly iteration is a vivid pink/orange version dubbed “Transcend Reality”, inspired by old-school video game graphics.

On a performance end, the KAWHI 4 features the innovative Energy Arc technology — a mid-foot plate system that combines carbon fiber with strategic voids. FuelCell, the brand’s chief cushioning system, is utilized throughout the midsole.

“Launching the KAWHI IV toward the end of the 2024 season is really special and I am excited to launch it with New Balance,” says Kawhi.

Both colorways of the all-new New Balance Kawhi IV signature shoe will release on April 25th, 2024 on newbalance.com, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and other partnering retailers; MSRP is set at $160.

The KAWHI IV is built around the explosive nature of Kawhi’s two-way game. The modern design of the KAWHI IV offers consumers high-performance features, complimented by a sophisticated, lifestyle-influenced aesthetic that allows it to flex between the court and the street.

Leonard, once again, worked closely with the New Balance design team to guarantee overall improvements to the design and performance of his signature shoe. The KAWHI IV features the innovative Energy Arc technology that combines sport-specific carbon fiber plate geometry with strategic midsole voids.

This pairing, along with FuelCell cushioning in the midsole, offers dynamic energy return while on the court. Along with premium performance technology, the shoe’s low-top silhouette features a lightweight mesh upper and synthetic overlays that provide lateral support.
